ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The procedure for transferring an object along an axis, from a contamination and radioactive zone to a clean zone without breaking confinement, when said zones are separated by a slab containing a plug and said object can be secured to the plug, involves the use of a stationary pre-enclosure equipped with two plugs and of a movable transfer enclosure equipped with one plug. The enclosure and pre-enclosure are placed in alignment with the transfer axis.
