ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Procedure to recover plastic materials and the like characterized by the fact that it consists of the input, near the bottom of a basin filled with a conveying liquid, generally water, up to the level determined by a weir, of the material to be separated, as plastics, reduced to small size and as homogeneous as possible pieces, with such an input on the bottom of the basin occurring without creating any turbulence in the same liquid, with the input material separating, due to the said absence of turbulence, according to the specific weights of the various component substances, thus allowing the recovery of the lighter material through the same weir and driving the heavier material away from the bottom.
