Process for the continuous surface treatment of items of limited size, for example, surface treatment of small fragile products, characterized by the product to be treated and, if necessary, the treatment product, being continuously fed into a rotating cylinder (1) lying horizontal or approximately horizontal, which is rotated at low speed and in which is slowly rotating, in the opposite direction, a spiral brush (10) aligned parallel to the said cylinder and which is placed in contact through at least one of its generators, with at least one internal generator of the lower part of the latter. The invention also relates to a machine which allows this process to be implemented.

Procédé pour le traitement en continu de surface d'articles de grosseur réduite, par exemple pour traitement de surface de produits fragiles de faibles dimensions, caractérisé en ce que l'on déverse en continu le produit à traiter et, si nécessaire, le produit de traitement, dans un cylindre rotatif (I) disposé horizontalement ou sensiblement horizontalement, que l'on fait tourner à vitesse lente et dans lequel on fait tourner, également à vitesse réduite et en sens opposé, une brosse hélicoïdale (10) disposée parallèlement audit cylindre et que l'on met en contact par l'intermédiaire d'au moins l'une de ses génératrice, avec au moins une génératrice interne de la partie inférieure de ce dernier. L'invention concerne également une machine permettant la mise en oeuvre de ce procédé.
