The present invention concerns a process and an apparatus for positioning blanks in a tool provided with at least one die (101), at least one locating device (103) for centring the blank (B) and at least one stripper element (105) for separating the blank from the locating device. The locating device has an engaging portion having shape and dimensions so as to engage the contour of a centring hole placed inside the profile of the lamination obtained as final product and having the shape of a portion previously blanked.

L'invention concerne un procédé et un appareil qui permettent de positionner des ébauches dans un outil équipé d'au moins une matrice (101), d'au moins un dispositif de positionnement (103) destiné à centrer l'ébauche (B) et d'au moins un élément dévêtisseur (105) destiné à séparer l'ébauche du dispositif de positionnement. Le dispositif de positionnement comprend une partie de contact dont la forme et les dimensions sont telles qu'elles lui permettent d'entrer en contact avec le contour d'un trou de centrage disposé à l'intérieur du profil du feuillet obtenu comme produit final, lequel trou de centrage possède la forme d'une partie préalablement découpée.
