In a method of treating viscous products, particularly for the implementation of polymerization operations, more particularly for the homopolymerization or copolymerization of biopolymers, where monomer(s) and/or catalysts and/or initiators are fed to a backmixed mixing compound (1), in particular having a length/diameter ratio of 0.5-3.5, more particularly a process corresponding to a stirred tank cascade of 2-5 stirred tanks in series, and the product is supplied with heat and is backmixed with product that has already reacted, and the reacted product is taken off from the mixing compound (1), the product is to be heated in the mixing compound (1) up to its optimum processing temperature or boiling temperature or sublimation temperature, parts of the product are to be evaporated, and hence the exothermic heat of the product and excess mechanical introduction of heat are absorbed by means of evaporative cooling.
L'invention concerne un procédé de traitement de produits visqueux, notamment de réalisation de processus de polymérisation, notamment pour l'homopolymérisation ou la copolymérisation de biopolymères. Selon le procédé, des monomères et/ou des catalyseurs et/ou des initiateurs sont introduits dans un malaxeur mélangeur (1) à reconversion présentant notamment un rapport longueur/diamètre de 0,5 à 3,5, dont le comportement correspond notamment à une cascade de 2 à 5 cuves mélangeuses montées en série; de la chaleur est appliquée au produit; le produit est mélangé à du produit ayant déjà réagi; et le produit ayant réagi est extrait du malaxeur mélangeur (1). Selon l'invention, le produit doit être chauffé à sa température de traitement optimale ou à sa température d'ébullition ou à sa température de sublimation, des parties du produit doivent être évaporées, et une exothermie du produit et une introduction de chaleur mécanique excédentaire doivent être absorbées par refroidissement par évaporation.
