FOC-222 Process and apparatus for producing packs with rounded or bevelled edges Abstract (in combination with Figure 8) To produce cuboid packs, especially cigarette packs of the hinge-lid type, with rounded or bevelled longitudinal edges (12), the spread-out, still unfolded shaping tools, namely fold- ing rollers (32, 33), in combination with a shaping plate (39), the round edges being formed in the region of an edge strip (29, 30) in each case of the neighbouring blank regions. The folding rollers (32, 33) are, at the same time, led around shap- ing margins (40, 41) of the shaping plate (39), taking the side blank parts (side tabs) with them.
