Apparatus for making a shearform matrix comprising means for increasing the temperature and pressure of a feedstock submitted to shearing while under internal flow conditions and upwardly ejecting the same through the high pressure nozzle (34) and possibly collecting the shearformed material in a gathering hopper (104a, 104b).
