ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE: Substituted thiocarbamates are produced by contin- uously feeding together a secondary amine and sulphur in stoi- chiometric propertions and in a suitable solvent into a reaction colum subjected to pressure by carbon monoxide. A continuous circulation of the reaction solution is maintained in the co- lumn, and the effluent is subjected to alkylation, the substi- tuted carbamate being derived therefrom continuously.
