ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE: Process for stacking strips of fixings, each fixing having a head and a shank,the fixings being connected together parallel to each other by at least one retaining strip, comprising the steps of: forming a transportation slot by means of two opposite support elements, holding the fixings in the transportation slot freely suspended by their heads, moving alternately each of the support elements away from the other so that at any time one support element remains in its supporting position and the other support element releases the heads of the fixings in such a way that the strips of fixings carry out a rotating movement around an axis parallel to their length as they fall down under the influence of gravity, and are collected after rotating through 90°. The alternate moving of each said support elements provides the falling down of fixings with their heads pointing in opposite directions.
