The invention relates to a process and apparatus for the gasification of a carbonaceous material. According to the process, the carbonaceous material is gasified at an elevated temperature to produce gas, condensable compounds are separated from the gas, and the product gas thus obtained is recovered. According to the invention, in order to separate the condensable compounds the gas obtained from the gasifiers is directed to a dry scrubber (2) operating according to the fluidized bed priciple, wherein it is contacted with the bed material of the fluidized bed, the interior temperature of the dry scrubber being maintained lower than the condensation temperature of the condensable compounds in order to condense these compounds into the bed material. By means of the invention, a substantially tar-free gas can be produced which is suitable for the production of both heat and electricity.
L'invention concerne un procédé et un appareil pour gazéifier de la matière carbonée. Selon ce procédé, la matière carbonée est gazéifiée à température élevée pour produire du gaz. Des composés condensables sont extraits du gaz et le gaz produit ainsi obtenu est recueilli. Selon l'invention, afin d'extraire les composés gazeux, le gaz obtenu à partir des gazéificateurs est dirigé vers un épurateur par voie sèche (2) fonctionnant selon le principe du lit fluidisé, dans lequel il est en contact avec les matériaux du lit du lit fluidisé, la température intérieure de l'épurateur par voie sèche étant maintenue inférieure à la température de condensation des composés condensables en vue de condenser ces composés dans les matériaux du lit. En utilisant cette invention, on peut produire un gaz presque entièrement exempt de goudron qui convient, à la fois, à la production de chaleur et d'électricité.
