ABSTRACT OF DISCLOSURE A process and composition for setting and tempora- ry waving of hair wherein the hair is dampened with a composition comprising from about 5% to about 15% water and from about 80% to about 95% alcohol, shaped into the desired geometric pattern, preferably using a permanent waving rod, and drying the hair for a period up to about 30 minutes; the treating composition pre- ferably containing a hair setting film forming resin and a hair conditioner.
