In communication systems based on optical networks, electrical power flow rates can be adapted to optical flow rates through time-division multiplexing, with pulses compressed to form the optical data transmitted. The invention concerns a process for performing pulse decompression at the receiving end by fully optical means. The process consists in: - forming q auxiliary signals (Se-Sh) obtained through modulating by the received signal (S'1) q optical carrier waves of different wavelengths (.gamma.e-gamma.h), and - combining q delayed auxiliary signals (Re-Rh) obtained by applying delays to the auxiliary signals (Se-Sh) such that any two consecutive delayed auxiliary signals (Re-Rh) are separated from the pulses comprising the received signal (S'1) by a time delay of duration .DELTA..
Dans les systèmes de communication à réseaux optiques, les débits du domaine électrique peuvent être adaptés à ceux du domaine optique grâce au multiplexage temporel, avec compression des impulsions formant les données optiques transmises. L'invention concerne un procédé qui réalise de façon entièrement optique la décompression des impulsions à effectuer à la réception. Le procédé consiste : - à former q signaux auxiliaires (Se-Sh) obtenus en modulant par le signal reçu (S'1) q ondes porteuses optiques de longueurs d'onde différentes (.gamma.e-.gamma.h), et - à combiner q signaux auxiliaires retardés (Re-Rh) obtenus en appliquant aux signaux auxiliaires (Se-Sh) des retards tels que deux signaux auxiliaires retardés (Re-Rh) consécutifs quelconques soient décalés temporellement de la durée .DELTA. des impulsions formant le signal reçu (S'1).
