ABSTRACT The present invention relates to a method and apparatus for distri- buting a water purifying chemical, particularly a flocculating-agent concen- trate, throughout a stream of water to be purified. In accordance with the method, the concentrate is introduced into the stream of water transversally to its direction of flow under the action of rotational motion, to achieve a dis- tribution time of at most one second.
