This invention relates to a method and apparatus for the heat-forming of a laminated plastic sheet. In prior known methods and apparatuses the bending of a laminated sheet has resulted in relative movement between the layers of the laminate. In addition only right-angled bends can be formed. In the process of the present invention, a uniform bending pressure applied to the regions of the edges of the sheet which are to be bent during the entire bending process such that a uniform tension is exerted on the various laminated layers of the free edge of the sheet.
