The invention relates to a process and device for making liquid dosage formulations from solid dosage forms, and the pharmaceutical compositions produced therefrom. The device comprises a mixing and dosing cup having an abrasive interior surface and may include a mixing blade attached to an external motor. According to the process, a liquid dosage formulation is prepared by combining a solid dosage form of a pharmaceutical medicament and an aqueous diluent in the mixing and dosing cup, agitating the resultant mixture, and administering the resulting liquid dosage formulation to a patient in the mixing and dosing cup.

Cette invention se rapporte à un procédé et à un dispositif servant à produire des formulations posologiques liquides à partir de formes posologiques solides, et aux compositions pharmaceutiques ainsi produites.
