PROCESS AND DEVICE FOR THE COMMINUTION OF PLASTICS ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Plastic components can be comminuted particularly economically for the re-use of the material in that they are fed to a device which with two rollers form a roll gap. The roll gap comprises at least two roll gap sections with different gap widths. The rollers are being operated at different peripheral speeds, with specified shearing rates being maintained in the smallest gap width.
