ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A process for the prevention of the propagation of errors in a security processor using processing circuits which carry out arithmetic and logic operations on given operands, and apparatus for detecting single definite breakdowns occurring in these processing circuits. The single dubious breakdowns weaken the signal and are detected by the detection of the single definite breakdowns, by use of rectifiers for the weakened signals. Single definite or dubious breakdowns of these rectifiers are also detected by detection of the single definite breakdowns. The invention has particular applications to transportation systems, especially in the field of aviation.
