Process and device for the thorough cleaning and sterilization of Pharmaceutical rubber stoppers Abstract Rubber stoppers for closing containers (bottles) containing pharmaceutical preparations have to be thoroughly cleaned and sterilized in the production factory. For this purpose, the stoppers are placed in a multipurpose container, in which they are thoroughly cleaned, sterilized and dried. After drying and steri- lization, the stoppers are then stored in the same multipurpose container and held in reserve.
