he invention relates to a process and device for processing information encoded during a purchase or payment transaction between a customer and merchant. The smart card memory comprises a first identification file, called the Member file, which identifies the client who is the cardholder, a second accounting file, called the Points file, and a third file, called the Behaviour file, concerning the cardholder's interaction with the merchants using the system. Algorithm processing is carried out based on the transaction date and information contained in the files. Data are then recorded in the Points file and new information in the Behaviour file, and a coupon may or may not be printed, depending on the results of the algorithmic processing.
La présente invention concerne un procédé et un dispositif de traitement d'informations codées, lors d'une opération d'achat ou de paiement par un client titulaire d'une carte à puce chez un commerçant. La mémoire de la carte à puce comporte un premier fichier d'identification, dit fichier Membre, identifiant le client titulaire de la carte, un deuxième fichier de comptabilisation, dit fichier Points et un troisième fichier, dit fichier Comportement, concernant le comportement du titulaire de la carte avec le ou les commerçants utilisateurs. Un traitement algorithmique déterminé est effectué en fonction d'une part de la date de l'opération et d'autre part des informations contenues dans les fichiers. On écrit alors des données dans le fichier Points et de nouvelles informations dans le fichier Comportement, et on imprime ou non le coupon, à partir du résultat du traitement algorithmique.
