To resynchronize and format a binary signal (S) of bit time T0, the process consists in: - formatting p sampled signals (S.lambda.a-S.lambda.d) obtained by modulation by the signal S of frequency pulses 1/T0, of duration substantially equivalent to T0/p and carried by p optical carriers of different wavelengths (.lambda.a-.lambda.d); - combining delayed signals obtained by applying to the sampled signals (S.lambda.a-S.lambda.d) delays such that any two consecutive delayed signals will exhibit a time separation of T0/p. Application to optical communications systems.

Afin de resynchroniser et mettre en forme un signal binaire (S) de temps bit T0, le procédé consiste : - à former p signaux échantillonnés (S.lambda.a-S.lambda.d) obtenus par modulations par le signal (S) d'impulsions de fréquence 1/T0, de durée sensiblement égale à T0/p et portées par p porteuses optiques de longueurs d'onde différentes (.lambda.a-.lambda.d), - à combiner des signaux retardés obtenus en appliquant aux signaux échantillonnés (S.lambda.a-S.lambda.d) des retards tels que deux signaux retardés consécutifs quelconques soient décalés temporellement de T0/p. Application aux systèmes de communication optiques.
