PRECIS DE LA DIVULGATION: L'invention a pour objet un procédé et un appareillage pour le traitement thermique en continu des fils et bandes métal- liques. Selon ce procédé, on fait passer le fil ou la bande à traiter au fond de la gorge d'une poulie puis on le recuit par chauffage à induction; le fil ou bande traité est ensuite re- froidi puis passe dans la même gorge de la poulie au-dessus du fil ou de la bande à traiter. L'invention s'applique plus par- ticulièrement aux fils et bandes en aluminium ou encore de ses alliages, en cuivre ou en un de ses alliages, ou encore en acier inoxydable.
