ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE: Process and device for drying a web impregnated with hardenable synthetic resin, in which the web if moved through at a treatment chamber within which the web is heated and air is introduced, in order to dilute and remove, at least partly, the gaseous substances formed during the drying process. Heat is applied in the form of radiant heat to the web and the air is introduced as prewarmed fresh air in a controlled manner into the treatment chamber and is passed as far as possible in laminar flow substan- tially parallel to the web along the web.
