ABSTRACT In an installation for the wet granulation of molten slag comprising a rotary filter drum rotating about a horizontal axis and fitted internally with filtration buckets for separating the granu- lated slag from the water, the force required for the rotation of the drum is measured and the output of the molten slag is determined on the basis of said force in order to regulate the flow of granulation water in accordance with the output of molten slag.
