Process for treating materials containing CH polymer chains comprsing the following steps: by external means, triggering combustion of the material in an environment insulated from the outside; drawing off the gaseous combustion products from said environment to put it under vacuum; feeding combustion-supporting gas in a quantity insufficient to create centres of com-bustion while maintaining the environment under vacuum in order to favour a process of molecular decomposition of the material; subjecting the produced gases to condensation and collecting the condensate in a non-pressurized environment. Plant suitable for performing the process.
L'invention concerne un procédé permettant de traiter des matériaux contenant des chaînes polymères CH. Ce procédé consiste à déclencher, par des moyens extérieurs, la combustion du matériau dans un environnement isolé de l'extérieur; à extraire les produits gazeux de combustion dudit environnement pour les mettre sous vide; à fournir un gaz de support de combustion en quantité suffisante pour créer des centres de combustion, tout en maintenant l'environnement sous vide afin de favoriser un processus de décomposition moléculaire du matériau; à soumettre les gaz produits à une condensation et à recueillir le condensat dans un environnement qui n'est pas sous pression. L'invention concerne également l'installation permettant d'exécuter ledit procédé.
