The invention relates to a process for producing steel and for obtaining slag with a high content of additional elements such as vanadium in a two-stage process, wherein liquid pig iron at a relatively low temperature is first blown onto a high-grade slag, which after tapping is further processed separately, while the pig iron is fed to at least one further converter, in which it is blown at a higher temperature to form steel. The intention is to produce a high-grade slag and to shorten the production process for the steel. This is achieved in terms of the process by the intermediate metal product that is tapped from the first converter being subjected to a heating and/or holding phase before being fed into the second converter.

L'invention concerne un procédé de production d'acier et de récupération de scories à haute teneur en éléments supplémentaires, par exemple le vanadium, dans un procédé en deux étapes. La fonte brute liquide est d'abord soufflée à basse température sur une scorie de haute valeur qui peut être traitée séparément après le prélèvement, la fonte brute étant envoyée à au moins un autre convertisseur dans lequel ou dans lesquels elle est soufflée à haute température pour fournir de l'acier. On cherche à former une scorie de haute valeur et à raccourcir le procédé de fabrication de l'acier. Le procédé atteint ces buts par le fait que le produit métallique intermédiaire prélevé dans le premier convertisseur subit une phase de chauffage et/ou de maintien à température avant d'être transféré dans le deuxième convertisseur.
