In accordance with the invention, refining raw materials containing organic constituents, such as solids containing oil and/or bitumen, in particular oil or tar sand or oil shale, is effected with the following steps: - supplying the raw materials to a reactor and expelling fuel gases at a temperature of about 300 to 1000°C, preferably about 500 to 800°C, introducing the solids left in the reactor including the non-evaporated fractions of heavy hydrocarbons into a furnace, burning the heavy hydrocarbons left in the solids in the furnace at a temperature of 600 to 1500°C, preferably 700 to 900°C, recirculating hot solids from the furnace into the reactor, wherein the oxidizing atmosphere of the furnace is separated from the atmosphere of the reactor by means of a blocking device.
La présente invention a trait au raffinage de matières premières contenant des constituants organiques, par exemple des matières solides contenant du pétrole et/ou du bitume, en particulier des sables pétrolifères ou bitumineux ou encore des schistes bitumineux. Ce processus de raffinage implique les étapes suivantes : alimentation d'un réacteur en matières premières et évacuation des gaz combustibles à une température d'environ 300 à 1 000 °C et, de préférence, d'environ 500 à 800 °C ; introduction dans un four des matières solides restant dans le réacteur, dont les fractions non évaporées d'hydrocarbures lourds ; brûlage des hydrocarbures lourds restant dans les matières solides placées dans le four à une température de 600 à 1 500 °C et, de préférence, de 700 à 900 °C ; remise en circulation des matières solides brûlantes en provenance du four dans le réacteur, l'atmosphère oxydante du four étant isolée de l'atmosphère du réacteur au moyen d'un dispositif de fermeture.
