ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE: A process for producing mould core, according to which green sand is packed as moulding sand into a compression mould and the green sand is precompacted in the mould using a hydraulic press and is finally compacted after the precompaction. In this way even complicated mould cores can be produced satisfactorily and efficiently from green sand.
