This system for initiating anionic polymerization of (meth)acrylates includes at least one initiator with formula (1) R-M, where M is an alkaline or alkaline-earth metal and R is a straight or branched alkyl radical with 2 to 6 atoms of carbon or an aryl radical or an arylalkyl radical. Its particularity is that it also includes at least one organic derivative of an alkaline metal, this derivative being neither an alcoholate nor an ester of carboxylic acid with the metal substituted at alpha. Application to anionic polymerization of (meth)acrylates.

Ce système d'amorçage de la polymérisation anionique de (méth)acrylates comprend au moins un amorceur de formule (1) R-M dans laquelle M désigne un métal choisi parmi les métaux alcalins et alcalino-terreux et R désigne un radical alkyle à chaîne droite ou ramifiée contenant de 2 à 6 atomes de carbone ou un radical aryle ou un radical arylalkyle. Il est caractérisé par le fait qu'il comprend en outre au moins un dérivé organique d'un métal alcalin, à la condition que ce dérivé organique ne soit ni un alcoolate ni un ester d'acide carboxylique substitué en position .alpha. par ledit métal. Application à la polymérisation anionique des (méth)acrylates.
