A process cartridge (7) detachably mountable to a main assembly of an electrophotographic image forming apparatus, wherein the main assembly includes a first rotatable main assembly drive transmission member (66), and a second rotatable main assembly drive transmission member (53), the process cartridge includes an electrophotographic photosensitive drum (1); a developing roller (25) for developing an electrostatic latent image formed on the drum with a developer,- a drum coupling member (16), provided on one axial end of the drum, for engaging with the first main assembly drive transmission member and transmitting a first rotational driving force to the drum, when the process cartridge is mounted to the main assembly of the apparatus along an axial direction of the drum; and a shaft coupling member (20), provided on one axial end of the developing roller, for transmitting a second rotational driving force with a deviation permitted between an axis of the second main assembly drive transmission member and an axis of the developing roller, wherein the shaft coupling member includes an engaging portion (23) for engaging with the second main assembly drive transmission member,- and the engaging portion is movable in a direction perpendicular to the axial direction of the developing roller when the process cartridge enters the main assembly of the apparatus.
Cartouche de traitement fixée de façon détachable à un ensemble principal d'un appareil de formation d'image électrophotographique, l'ensemble principal comprenant un premier élément de transmission d'entraînement d'ensemble principal rotatif et un second élément de transmission d'entraînement d'ensemble principal rotatif, la cartouche de traitement comprenant un tambour photosensible électrophotographique ; un rouleau de développement pour développer une image latente électrostatique formée sur le tambour photosensible électrophotographique avec un révélateur ; un élément de couplage de tambour, situé sur une extrémité axiale du tambour photosensible électrophotographique, pour mettre en prise le premier élément de transmission d'entraînement d'ensemble principal et transmettre une première force d'entraînement de rotation au tambour photosensible électrophotographique, lorsque la cartouche de traitement est fixée à l'ensemble principal de l'appareil le long d'une direction axiale du tambour photosensible électrophotographique ; et un élément de couplage d'arbre, situé sur une extrémité axiale du rouleau de développement, pour transmettre une seconde force d'entraînement rotative avec une déviation permise entre un axe du second élément de transmission d'entraînement d'ensemble principal et recevoir la seconde force d'entraînement de rotation, lorsque la cartouche de traitement est montée sur l'ensemble principal de l'appareil ; et la partie de mise en prise est mobile dans une direction croisant la direction axiale du rouleau de développement lorsque la cartouche de traitement entre dans l'ensemble principal de l'appareil.
