A method and system is described that estimates gas turbine engine module performance changes from gas path measurement data using a linear predictor-corrector estimation process. A measurement configuration matrix M c and a fault configuration F c matrix are assembled. The configuration matrices M c and F c are used to adapt a typical linear predictor-corrector type of performance estimation process to a given measurement suite and are ideally suited for linear estimation systems such as those using a Kalman filter.

Méthode et système d'estimation des changements de rendement d'un module de turbine à gaz à partir des données de mesure du trajet du gaz à l'aide d'un processus d'estimation à prédiction et correction linéaires. Une matrice de configuration des mesures (MC) et une matrice de configuration d'erreurs (FC) sont réunies. Les matrices de configuration MC et FC sont utilisées pour adapter un processus d'estimation typique à prédiction et correction linéaires à une suite de mesures donnée et sont idéalement conçues pour des systèmes d'estimation linéaire comme ceux qui utilisent un filtre de Kalman.
