The invention relates to a process for adapting the operation of a subscriber identification module depending on at least one interface information, concerning the or at least one of the interfaces of a mobile radiocommunication terminal with which the said module cooperates, distinctive in that it includes the following steps: - transmission by the subscriber identification module to the terminal of a command to acquire interface information; - reception and execution by the terminal of the command to acquire interface information so as to generate a response containing at least one interface information; - transmission by the terminal of the response to the said subscriber identification module; - reception by the subscriber identification module of the response and adaptation of its operation depending on the content of the said response.

L'invention concerne un procédé d'adaptation du fonctionnement d'un module d'identification d'abonné en fonction d'au moins une information d'interface(s),concernant la ou au moins une des interface(s) d'un terminal mobile de radio-communication avec lequel coopère ledit module, caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend les étapes suivantes: - émission par le module d'identification d abonné, à destination du terminal, d'une commande d'acquisition d'information(s) d'interface(s); - réception et exécution par le terminal de la commande d'acquisition d'information(s) d'interface(s), de façon à générer une réponse contenant au moins une information d'interface(s); - émission par le terminal, à destination dudit module d'identification d'abonné, de la réponse; - réception par le module d'identification d'abonné de la réponse et adaptation de son fonctionnement en fonction du contenu de ladite réponse.
