The present invention relates to a method for finishing woollen textiles. According to the method, the woollen textile in an aqueous solution is brought into contact with protease enzyme in a large amount of water so that the woollen textile is moved as little as possible or not at all, at a temperature of about 60~C or less for 10 to 90 min. The enzyme is inactivated and the woollen textile is taken to dry in mechanical drying at a temperature of about 60~C or less to reach residual moisture content of 10 to 45 %, and the final drying is carried out without mechanics.

La présente invention concerne un procédé de finissage de textiles de laine. Selon ledit procédé, le textile de laine dans une solution aqueuse est mis en contact avec une enzyme protéase dans une importante quantité d'eau de sorte que le textile de laine est déplacé aussi peu que possible ou pas du tout, à une température inférieure ou égale à environ 60 ·C pendant 10 à 90 minutes. L'enzyme est inactivée et le textile de laine est séché dans un procédé de séchage mécanique à une température inférieure ou égale à environ 60 ·C afin d'atteindre une teneur en humidité résiduelle comprise entre 10 et 45 %, et le séchage final est effectué sans appareil mécanique.
