- 8 - A process for cleaning inductor channels of furnaces melting non-ferrous metal alloys is provided wherein the coating alloy has a minimum of zinc content of 50% by weight which is subject to softening, dilution and floating of DROSS heavy slag, obstructing inductor channels and its further removal by mechanical action aided by a nitrogen gas stream acting within inductor channels.
