PRECIS DE LA DIVULGATION: Le nettoyage de surfaces polluées par des hydro- carbures, graisses, huiles et matières analogues, est effectuée en répandant sur la surface polluée au moins une poudre minérale de silicate, et au moins un agent tensioactif de rapport hydrophile/lipophile inférieur ou égal à 12, sous forme d'une solution ou d'une émulsion dans un liquide polaire ou non-polaire, la proportion d'agent tensioactif étant de 0,5 à 5 % du poids de la poudre minérale. L'invention permet la mise en oeuvre simultanée d'un matériau adsorbant et/ou absorbant et d'un agent de détergence.
