ABSTRACT "Lubrication of Moulding Tools" Moulding tools, for example in tablet making machines, are lubricated by droplets of lubricant conveyed to the tool by a jet of gas, e.g. air. The lubricant is then dispersed over the moulding tool by applying a second subsequent, and greater, jet of gas, so as to lubricate the edges of the moulding tools.
