A process is provided for coating stents having a first and second surface with passages there between to avoid blockage and bridging of the passages. The process comprises contacting the stent with a liquid coating solution containing a film forming biocompatible polymer under conditions suitable to allow the film forming biocompatible polymer to coat at least one surface of the stent while maintaining a fluid flow through said passages sufficient prevent the film forming biocompatible polymer from substantially blocking said passages. Also described are stents coated by this process.
La présente invention concerne un procédé pour le revêtement de tuteurs ayant une première et une deuxième surfaces pourvues de passages entre elles pour empêcher l'obstruction ou le pontage des passages. Le procédé comprend l'application sur le tuteur d'une solution de revêtement liquide contenant un polymère biocompatible à formation de film dans des conditions permettant au polymère biocompatible à formation de film de couvrir au moins une surface du tuteur tout en maintenant une circulation de liquide suffisante dans lesdits passages pour empêcher le polymère biocompatible à formation de film de trop obstruer ces passages. Sont aussi décrits les tuteurs enduits selon ce procédé.
