A process for deinking wastepaper, which comprises: (a) forming an organoclay deinking agent in an aqueous system; (b) contacting ink from wastepaper in the aqueous system with an amount of the organoclay deinking agent effective to deink the wastepaper; and (c) recovering deinked paper pulp from the aqueous system.

Un procédé de désencrage du papier de rebut qui comprend les étapes suivantes : a) former un agent de désencrage à argile organique dans un système aqueux; b) mettre en contact l'encre du papier de rebut avec le système aqueux, la quantité d'agent de désencrage à argile organique étant suffisante pour assurer un désencrage effectif du papier de rebut; et c) extraire la pâte de papier désencré du système aqueux.
