The invention concerns a process for detecting defects in a textured suface, particularly on a highway. The process consists in displacing with respect to the surface a camera presenting an inclination and in processing by processing systems the successive images taken by the camera. A mathematical processing is effected on sub-images, corresponding to the same spatial portion of the surface, taken at different consecutive instants.
L'invention se rapporte à un procédé pour détecter les défauts dans une surface texturée, notamment la surface d'une voie de circulation. Le procédé consiste à photographier la surface selon une certaine inclinaison et à soumettre les images successives à un système de traitement d'images. Le traitement mathématique des images obtenues est effectué sur des sous-images correspondant à une même portion de surface et prises en des instants consécutifs.
