A B R E G E Selon ce procédé, on définit un intervalle élémentaire sur l'un des axes d'un système de coordonnées pour sélectionner une premiè- re série de points, on détermine une deuxième série de points (R1, R2, R3), en établissant un rapport seuil entre la corde (C1, C1') séparant deux points non consécutifs et la somme des cordes (c1, c2, c3; c1',c2',c3') séparant chacun des points consécutifs à l'intérieur de deux points non consécutifs et on choisit l'intervalle (N) entre ces deux points non consécutifs correspondant au plus grand rapport inférieur audit seuil. On retrace ensuite la courbe représentative en établissant entre chaque groupe de trois points non consécutifs une parabole par rapport à un axe de symétrie correspondant à l'axe des intervalles élémentaires.
