The present invention relates to a method for dry-grinding one or more mineral materials that include at least one calcium carbonate, characterized in that said method comprises the following steps: a) crushing the mineral material or materials in at least one crushing unit until a crushed material with a d95 of less than 10 cm is obtained; b) possibly improving the crushed material according to step a); c) dry-grinding the crushed material according to step a) and/or b) in at least one grinding unit, (i) in the presence of at least one hydrophilic comb polymer containing at least one polyalkylene oxide function grafted onto at least one ethylenically unsaturated monomer, (ii) in such a way that the quantity of liquid in said grinding unit is less than 15% by dry weight of said crushed material in said grinding unit; d) possibly classifying the dry-ground material according to step c) with at least one classification unit; e) possibly repeating step(s) c) and/or d) on all or part of the dry-ground material resulting from step(s) c) and/or d); and characterized in that the material collected after step c) and/or d) and/or e) has a d50 (average diameter) of 0.5 to 500 microns.
Un premier objet de la présente invention est procédé de broyage à sec d'un ou plusieurs matériaux minéraux qui comprennent au moins un carbonate de calcium, caractérisé en ce que ledit procédé comprend les étapes de : a) concasser le ou les matériaux minéraux dans au moins une unité de concassage jusqu'à l'obtention d'un matériau concassé avec un d95 inférieure à 10 cm; b) éventuellement bonifier le matériau concassé selon l'étape a); c) broyer à sec le matériau concassé selon l'étape a) et / ou b) dans au moins une unité de broyage : (i) en présence d'au moins un polymère hydrophile de type peigne contenant au moins une fonction oxyde de polyalkylène greffée sur au moins un monomère à insaturation éthylénique, (ii) de telle manière à ce que la quantité de liquide dans ladite unité de broyage est inférieure à 15 % en poids sec dudit matériau concassé dans ladite unité de broyage; d) éventuellement classifier le matériau broyé à sec selon l'étape c) avec au moins une unité de classification; e) éventuellement répéter les étapes c) et/ou d) sur tout ou partie du matériau broyé à sec issu de l'étapes c) et/ou d); et caractérisé en ce que le matériau récupéré suite à l'étape c) et/ou d) et/ou e) a un d50 (diamètre moyen) de 0,5 à 500 microns.
