A method for improved grinding of coarse materials wherein the materials are ground in the presence of a grinding agent including at least one short-chain monocarboxylic acid with at least eight carbon atoms, the amount of said grinding agent being from 0.01-0.1 wt % based on the weight of the coarse materials, i.e. from 100-1000 ppm or grammes/tonne.

L'invention concerne un procédé d'amélioration du broyage des matières crues caractérisé en ce qu'on réalise le broyage des matières crues en présence d'un agent de broyage comprenant au moins un acide monocarboxylique à chaîne courte comportant moins de huit atomes de carbone, la quantité de cet agent de broyage étant comprise entre 0,01 % et 0,1 % en poids par rapport au poids des matières crues, soit entre 100 et 1000 ppm ou grammes/tonne.
