The present invention relates to a process for esterifying or transesterifying side chains in polymers, comprising the following steps a) preparing a copolymer obtainable by polymerization of aa) at least one (meth)acrylate of the general formula (I) as component A, Image in which R1 is H or CH3, and R2 is H or an alkyl radical which is optionally substituted by functional groups such as acryloyl, ether, amino, epoxy, halogen or sulfonic acid groups, and ab) at least one monomer of the general formula (II) as component B, Image in which R3 is as defined for R1, R4 is as defined for R2, and n = from 1 to 40, and b) esterifying or transesterifying the carboxyl group having the R4 radical with an alcohol in the presence of an enzyme which catalyzes the esterification or transesterification. The present invention further relates to the polymers as such and to their use.
La présente invention concerne un procédé d'estérification ou de transestérification de chaînes latérales de polymères. Ce procédé consiste à a) produire un copolymère obtenu par polymérisation aa) d'au moins un (méth)acrylate de la formule générale (I), en tant que composant A, où R<SUP>1</SUP> représente H ou CH<SUB>3</SUB>, et R<SUP>2</SUP> représente H ou un groupe alkyle qui est éventuellement substitué par des groupes fonctionnels comme des groupes acryle, éther, amino, époxy, halogène ou d'acide sulfonique, et ab) d'au moins un monomère de la formule générale (II), en tant que composant B, où R<SUP>3</SUP> a la même signification que R<SUP>1</SUP>, R<SUP>4</SUP> la même signification que R<SUP>2</SUP> et n est compris entre 1 et 40, et b) à estérifier ou transestérifier le groupe carboxyle présentant le groupe R<SUP>4 </SUP>avec un alcool en présence d'une enzyme catalysant l'estérification ou la transestérification. L'invention concerne également les polymères en tant que tels et leur utilisation.
