For magnifying the dimensions in space of pictures a method is known in which the increasing of the amplitude of the vertical deflection is combined with a digital magnification of the signal in the horizontal direction. 2.2. For the modification of the dimensions in space of pictures a) the data are written into a memory without prior expansion. The expansion of the picture data is performed during the reading-out of the memory. b) The expansion of the data is performed during the writing of the data into the picture memory. The reproduction is performed by reading-out line by line. 2.3. Improved picture reproduction method 3. Fig. 4 .
