Le procédé permet d'extraire les composés anti-hydrates contenus dans une charge liquide d'hydrocarbures condensés arrivant par le conduit 1. La charge liquide est mise en contact dans la zone ZA avec un liquide ionique non- aqueux ayant pour formule générale Q+ A- , Q+ désignant un cation ammonium, phosphonium et/ou un sulfonium, et A- désignant un anion susceptible de former un sel liquide. La charge liquide d'hydrocarbures évacuée par le conduit 2 est débarrassée des composés anti-hydrates. Le liquide ionique chargé en composés anti-hydrates est évacué par le conduit 3, puis introduit dans le dispositif DE pour être chauffé afin d'évaporer les composés anti-hydrates. Le liquide ionique régénéré est recyclé par les conduits 8 et 9 dans la zone ZA. L'anti-hydrates est évacué par le conduit 7a.
