ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A process for extracting silver in a solution containing at least silver and lead, the solution obtained from residues and flue dusts character- ized in that the silver is separated from the solution by selective precipi- tation as silver suphide, the lead being subsequently precipitated in the form of a basic salt. This process eleminates further precipitate separation into the individual metal precipitates which is necessary in conventional processes.
