Chlorosulfonyl substituted aromatic heterocyclic compounds, such as 2- chlorosulfonyl[1,2,4]triazolo[1,5-c]pyrimidine compounds, were prepared in good yield by chloroxidation of di(aromatic heterocyclyl) disulfide compounds in a medium containing water, a water-immiscible organic solvent, and a phase transfer catalyst, such as tetrabutylammonium chloride.

Selon cette invention, on a obtenu un bon rendement dans la préparation de composés chlorosulfonyle aromatiques hétérocycliques substitués, tels que des composés de 2-chlorosulfonyl[1,2,4]triazolo[1,5-c]pyrimidine, par la chloroxydation de composés à base de disulfure de di(hétérocyclyle aromatique) dans un milieu contenant de l'eau, un solvant organique immiscible à l'eau et un catalyseur de transfert de phase tel qu'un chlorure de tétrabutylammonium.
