ABSTRACT A novel process has been found wherein electro- static dissipative properties are imparted to recycled thermoplastics. The discarded waste plastics are divided and soaked in a salt bath for a predetermined amount of time. The treated recycled thermoplastics have a resistivity in the range of approximately 105 to approximately 1012 Ohms per square. The invention also includes the treated thermoplastic having electrostatic dissipative properties which can be reprocessed into various useful objects.
