A method is provided for reducing the shrinkage of wool comprising the steps of: (a) preparing an aqueous solution comprising an oxidase or a peroxidase; and (b) contacting a wool containing article with said aqueous solution under conditions suitable for reacting said oxidase or peroxidase with said wool.

L'invention concerne un procédé permettant de réduire le retrait de la laine, qui consiste à: (a) préparer une solution aqueuse comprenant une oxydase ou une peroxydase; et (b) mettre un article contenant de la laine en contact avec ladite solution aqueuse dans des conditions appropriées à une réaction de ladite oxydase ou peroxydase avec ladite laine.
