The present invention provides a process to clean water filtration media in a filtration bed. The process includes applying a granular cleaner to the water filtration media (120) and applying an activator to the water filtration media (30). This causes a chemical reaction between the granular cleaner, activator and water filtration media resulting in the cleaning of the water filtration media. The residual granular cleaner and activator, along with suspended and dissolved contamination from the water filtration media, are removed by rinsing with water (40).
La présente invention concerne un procédé pour nettoyer des médias de filtration d'eau dans un lit filtrant. Ce procédé consiste à appliquer un nettoyant granulaire sur les médias de filtration d'eau (20) et à appliquer un activateur sur ces médias de filtration d'eau (30). Cette opération entraîne une réaction chimique entre le nettoyant granulaire, l'activateur et les médias de filtration d'eau, induisant le nettoyage des médias de filtration d'eau. Les résidus d'activateur et de nettoyant granulaire, avec les impuretés des médias de filtration d'eau en suspension et dissoutes, sont éliminés par un rinçage à l'eau (40).
