This invention concerns a process for inactivating a virus coated in a viral preparation containing principally non coated virus is new and comprises introducing into the viral preparation an sufficient quantity of a solvent and leave to adjust to a temperature of -5 degrees C to 50 degrees C and at a pH of between 5 and 9. It also provides a method for preparing a viral preparation containing such an inactivation process. The invention also relates to a virus preparation obtained by the method of the invention. Finally, it provides a host cell and a compound comprising such a virus preparation for therapeutic nor prophylactic purposes.

La présente invention concerne un procédé d'inactivation de virus enveloppés dans une préparation virale contenant majoritairement des virus non enveloppés par action d'un solvant à une température comprise entre - 5°C et +50°C et à un pH compris entre environ 5 et 9. Elle a également pour objet un procédé de préparation d'une préparation virale comprenant un tel procédé d'inactivation. L'invention concerne également une préparation virale obtenue selon le procédé de l'invention. Enfin, elle concerne une cellule hôte et une composition comprenant une telle préparation virale ainsi que leurs utilisations à des fins thérapeutiques ou prophylactiques.
